Description:

Trish is an incredibly creative and talented presenter who has not only had a long and successful career on camera but has also developed some highly regarded UK television formats including So You Think You Can Be a Single Parent/Nurse/Teacher for Five, Child Snatchers for Living TV and Fighting Back – the Michael Watson Story for BBC2.

Trish can always be relied upon to deliver factual information in an informative, authoritative and entertaining way.   She is currently presenting her own Weekends with Trish weekend breakfast show on BBC West Midlands and BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.  The Saturday show is topical, fun and irreverent and the Sunday show is spiritual and reflective which illustrates Trish’s skills as a broadcaster with varied dynamics. Most recently she has filmed a report for BBC’s Inside Out called Chubby Kids.  She reported about local obese teenagers and how they are being helped to gain a healthier lifestyle.  It will be seen in the new year.

She can also be seen hosting Bright Talk for BEN TV in which she chairs a topical telephone chat show focussing on the headlines of current controversial stories.  She is not afraid to be opinionated, polemic and confrontational. Trish is most well known from her days on Loose Women as a regular panellist from 2002 – 2005.  She contributed many ideas to the series.  The show allowed her to be articulate and strong as well as accessible to the audience. She is also highly knowledgeable on all sport having been the Sports Anchor for Channel 5 news from 1996 – 2003.

Trish is more than capable of researching and producing her own items which she did for Channel One TV.  She started her television career behind the scenes as a researcher for Good Morning with Anne and Nick on the BBC.  She then moved in front of the camera on BBC2’s Def II – a youth current affairs programme featuring stories with a nationwide interest. Trish is multi-skilled – a broadcaster, presenter and format developer.  She has won an RTS Award for best documentary with Fighting Back.
